The sensors are great but what is even more amazing is the company behind them. I had been using my clubhubs for a few months and was loving it but all of a sudden my swings weren’t recording right. I contacted customer support and immediately they brought my issue to their swing experts. After less than half a day I got a response that they had looked into my swings and found I had a lot of movement in my setup so my swing wasn’t being recognized properly. This comes two weeks after I had stopped taking lessons with my instructor and was reverting back to my old ways with a lot of waggle which he was always trying to get me to stop. I was so impressed that clubhub’s swing experts could tell me that without even seeing me swing, it was amazing! I’ve got the waggle back under control and all of my swings are recording great. I have had my ClubHub Excel 14 sensor pack already for a few months. I am using ClubHub both during my rounds and at the range. It is great to be able to see accurate distances I have been hitting with different clubs on a round. Having such real action data from different ball lies and weather conditions helps in club selection on later rounds.
Sometimes I go through a round afterwards on ClubHub and seeing where each shot was hit can also help my game. I can see where I played a hole or specific shot smartly and where I have made a wrong decision.
3D view of the swing is very useful as I can see the club and hand path for any swing and can see it from different angles and this right after after a swing – immediate feedback. It helps me to improve my swing by myself.
Using ClubHub makes practising on the range much more effective as I can see immediately important swing data like club speed, attack angle and swing tempo. My aim is to become a single handicap player and this device is definitely helping me to achieve that target sooner.
ClubHub is very easy to use. Batteries also last quite well. So far I have had to change batteries only for those clubs that I use the most.

Have been using mine for about two weeks and it is terrific! Customer support is outstanding and Pat responded very quickly. I was having an issue with the app picking up swings consistently and also getting hung up during my initial range session and the first round that I played. I emailed customer support and was assisted by Pat with a quick and easy fix for the app on my iPhone. I followed up to let them know that all was working well and he responded immediately once again. This is a HUGE plus for Kinetek Sports in dealing with the minor issues that users may have. I have now used the app on six different courses in my area and it hasn’t missed a shot yet. I keep my phone in my pocket throughout the round, and have left it in my cart a few times around the green and haven’t encountered any issues. I use the app on the range daily in addition to playing two or three times per week and the batteries are all over 70% or better. During the round the app has used about 40%-50% of my iPhone battery so no issues there, and the course map and GPS that are available has been very helpful and accurate. I also decided to apply a small amount of electric tape to secure each sensor to the grip, and it has eliminated the occasional “click” that the sensor may give on mis-hits….not necessary but just a personal preference for me.
The data that I have been able to gather has been really helpful in understanding my swing. It is nice to be able to use the 3D feature on the range in order to understand club path on the backswing and downswing. Average statistics are starting to take shape for each club, and I am able to delete swings that may be out of the ordinary in order to get more accurate data. I tried Arccos in the past and in my opinion the data that is collected and given by ClubHub is superior. Really happy with the setup and look forward to building the library of data using ClubHub this season. Thanks

Distances are not available in RANGE mode. This is because CLUBHUB uses the phone’s GPS to calculate the distance between two ball locations on the course. Since we automatically record shots taken and locations, we can automatically determine shot distances. On the RANGE, we do not know where the ball lands since you don’t go to its location with the phone.
You can use the SENSE3 product on the course to record distances. I will send you an email with instructions on how to do this.

For the record, I’m a golf gadget geek. I have them all, SkyPro, 3Bays, SwingTalk, SwingByte 2, Zepp 2, Earnst Sports ES14 and Arccos 360. All are very good products, and for the most part do what they claim. I must say that ClubHub is the best all around swing analyzer and golf round shot tracker because it captures every swing while providing a comprehensive range of stats for each swing, especially the 3D swing view, all in realtime on the course or the range. I compared the Club Head Speed, Angle of Attack and Face Angle to my Trackman IV, and although there were differences between the two, I found it to very consistent from swing to swing. I can’t say enough about the level of customer service, it’s been beyond expectation. With Mike’s help I’ve been able to create my own custom dashboard using excel from the raw data of all of my swings. they continue to update the firmware of the sensors and update the app to make the accuracy better and better. The biggest drawback is the lack of the ability to compare swings within the app or see overall club performance comparisons. Another opportunity for growth is an online portal to see one’s game in totality and see trends. I feel Arccos is the gold standard for an online portal. IMHO, once ClubHub has an online portal there will be nothing close as a all-around swing analysis and game tracking platform, suitable for players, students and instructors. Keep up the GREAT work ClubHub Team!

I can’t say enough about the Club Hub. I really prefer to figure things out on my own and this product has really helped me take my game to the next level. Sure, I’ve taken lessons but I’ve walked away from most of them not learning as much as I thought I would. What I prefer to do is set up a hitting net on the side yard, video my swing and use the Club Hub to track my swing speed, tempo, transition, attack and face angle. As a matter of fact, I went out on Monday and played 18 with my brother. It was great to compare my stats on the course versus the range or hitting net. For anyone trying to sharpen their game at any level, the Club Hub is an excellent tool that no one should be without.

I purchased a sensor through Kickstarter last fall and have used it extensively with my driver. It has been invaluable in giving immediate feedback about my swing speed as I have tried to add more distance to my drives. I haven’t been able to fully test out the accuracy of the swing speed measurement, but it seems to be pretty close. What I would love for ClubHub to offer is more information on how to use the data the sensors give. For example, it would be helpful to be able to compare my 3D swings and speed of backswing etc with PGA players in order to determine how I could improve.

I want to let you know how much Club Hub is changing my golf game for the better. I was intrigued when I first saw the Club Hub on Kickstarter. The concept that a sensor on the end of a club could provide insight into my golf swing in a way that I haven’t fully been able to digest over years of playing and in lessons that never quite communicated all the information that I needed to improve my swing.
Club Hub has changed all that. When playing, it is easy to know when you hit a good shot, just look at it. What is hard is to know why that shot and not the similar shot before produced different results. That has all changed over the last few months. In analyzing my shots in the evening after my rounds, I started to see where I was consistent and inconsistent. As an older golfer, I had lost some of my swing speed, and my distances were less than I would like. Similarly, my accuracy off the tee was a frustration.
With Club Hub, I am able to ‘see’ my swing. I can see the arc, the transition and the club position throughout the swing. With this insight, I worked on raising my hand position at the top of the backswing about 3 inches while also changing the pace of the backswing and transition. I could look at the statistics and know each of the components of my swing. Seeing this was much different than an instructor (and friends) telling me to “swing slower”.
Last Friday it all came together. I could feel the changed backswing position and feel. I could see, hole-after-hole, the increased distance and accuracy. In my usual fashion I waited until after the round to look at the Club Hub swing analysis (as you know I could have during the round, but that, for me, takes away for the playing enjoyment.) What I saw was a 10 mph improvement in my swing speed despite slowing my swing. My positioning throughout the swing was much more consistent and the results matched the changes.
For me, Club Hub is a game changer. Best of luck sharing this great technology with golfers everywhere.

Amazing Product, Tested with a trackman and found it to be very close to accurate on most of the data. I only gave it 4 stars as it does not keep a running score of your round, however, all the data is there so I am confident that an update will eventually happen with the app to provide this including penalty strokes and ect., once they do that it will truly be “The Most Complete Sensor System in Golf”… The 3d swing analysis is great and can be viewed on every shot. Kinetek is well on their way on a completely amazing product, a few updates and they will corner the market!!!
