General Questions

  • What is theHub?

theHub is an online web application that supports self-taught players, players with instructors, and instructors who are looking for in-depth game analysis through side-by-side swing comparisons, on course distance and direction statistics, range vs round trend comparisons, and much more. If you are interested in exploring the features of theHub, feel free to check out our instructor and player demos.
  • What web browsers does theHub support?

theHub is supported on the latest version of all major browsers including Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera.
  • On which devices can I use theHub?

Tablets, laptops, and desktops. Because theHub is accessible via the internet, technically you can use theHub anywhere you can get access to a web browser. But, as it was designed with bigger screens in mind, we are giving you fair warning that it does not look good on phones.
  • Will my subscription be automatically renewed?

Yes, your subscription will be automatically renewed monthly or annually, depending on which subscription you purchased. You can cancel your automatic renewal at any time by going to your settings page and clicking Cancel. If you cancel, subscription benefits continue for the duration of term after cancellation.
  • How will I know when new features are available?

We will constantly be updating theHub with new features and improvements and they will be immediately available to users as soon as we make the changes live. There will be no need to download new versions or install firmware or software. We will also be communicating changes through our mailing list.
  • How do I set up my Hub login?

If you are an existing player, you can use the username (email) and password that you created in the mobile app. If you do not already have a ClubHub account, there are two ways you can register and set up your login credentials. One way is to download the free mobile app on your iOS or Android phone and tap Register to create a new player. Another way is to register as a new player when you purchase a subscription.
  • What is True Distance and where can I see it in theHub?

True Distance provides an accurate view of how far you hit your clubs once enough on-course data has been collected. Non-full-swings and erroneous shots with distances that are out of your typical results are removed. For instance, we automatically remove shots that may have hit the cart path and traveled further than usual or those that hit a tree and are cut short. True Distance can be seen on the player dashboard in the clubs list and in Analytics.

  • Do I need to have ClubHub sensors to have data in my Hub account?

Yes, in order to have swing data in your Hub account, you must have ClubHub sensors on your clubs.
  • Can I have a Hub account if I have a Sense1 or Sense3 sensor set?

Yes, you can have a Hub account with any number of sensors. theHub supports Range, Limited, and Full Play Mode.
  • How long will it take to see my rounds in the Hub after I play?

Your rounds will be saved in the cloud and available to view, edit, and analyze in theHub as soon as you end the round on your phone when you finish playing. Uploading to the cloud requires an internet connection.
  • Can I see my own data during the 30-day free trial?

Yes, if you are an existing ClubHub player with data in the mobile app, you will be able to access that data in theHub during your 30-day free trial. Any additions and changes made during the free trial will be saved and available to pick up right where you left off when you purchase a subscription.
  • Will the changes that I make to my data in theHub be reflected in the mobile app?

Yes, and the same goes for any changes you make in the mobile app. All data is stored in the cloud and any changes made in either the web app or mobile app are synchronized.
  • Do I need to have an instructor to use theHub?

No! But you can if you would like! theHub is designed to support all players, whether they be self-taught or professionally trained. If you link to your instructor, they will be able to see your ClubHub data.
  • How do I link to my instructor?

Your instructor can add you as one of their players by going to the PLAYERS tab in the main menu and clicking the Add button. Players can be linked by the email address that they use for their ClubHub account. Once your instructor sends you a request, you will receive an email and will need to confirm the association.
  • Does it cost extra to link to an instructor?

No, there is no extra cost for players or instructors when a player is linked to an instructor’s account. Subscriptions are on an individual basis and any player with an active subscription can be linked to any instructor with an active subscription.
  • Can my instructor edit my rounds?

No, your instructor can only view your rounds. Only players have round editing features.
  • Why does it say "Insufficient Data" in my clubs list on my Dashboard?

Your average club distances are calculated from the representative distances of shots taken with a full swing on the course (in Limited mode, shots that are marked with distance are used). When you see "Insufficient Data” it means that you have no full swings with a distance recorded. Chips, pitches, punch shots, etc. are not used in the average distance calculation.
  • I’ve been using my ClubHub sensors for years- will I be able to access historic data as well as new?

Yes, of course! All swings ever recorded with your ClubHubs, no matter how old, will be viewable in theHub. This is true for both the 30-day free trial, as well as when you start a subscription. Another fun fact: all historic data will be given the full treatment by getting run through our new analytics calculations so that the new Hinge parameter and in-round accuracy will be provided.
  • How can I link a round or range session to a lesson with my instructor?

Any lessons your instructor schedules in their Hub account will allow you to see a popup on your mobile device when you start a range session or round to ask if you would like to associate the event with your lesson. Don’t worry if you start your lesson a little earlier or later than scheduled, the popup will appear 30 minutes before and after the scheduled time just for those occasions.
