Configuration 101
When you set up your brand new ClubHubs, move a sensor to another club, or remove a ClubHub from a club, it is important to know the proper steps to take to ensure that your ClubHubs are ready to record data the next time you take a swing.
First Time Configuration
- Install all your ClubHubs onto your clubs by screwing each one into the drain hole of the grip
- Put each club back into your bag once the ClubHub is installed
- Before starting the configuration process in the mobile app, make sure all of your clubs are back in your bag
- If your clubs are not in your golf bag when you start the configuration process, keep them in the out-of-play position (head up/grip down) or lie them flat before and after each club is paired
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your mobile device
- Go to the My Clubs page in the ClubHub mobile app
- Home > Settings (gear icon in top right corner of home page) > My Clubs
- Tap the + in the top right corner of the My Clubs page
- Select the club category and club you would like to add
- Important: Keep your clubs in the out-of-play position until you are on the following page that says “Looking for a ClubHub…”
- Once you are on the “Looking for a ClubHub…” page, remove a club from your bag and turn the club to the in-play position (head down, grip up)
- Enter manufacturer and club spec information (optional) and save the club after it is connected
- Repeat the process for each club in your bag
Moving a ClubHub to Another Club
- Go to the My Clubs page in the ClubHub mobile app
- Home > Settings (gear icon in top right corner of home page) > My Clubs
- Swipe left on the club from which you are removing the sensor
- Tap Remove ClubHub
- This club will now appear at the bottom of your club list and the CH icon will be greyed out to indicate that there is no active ClubHub paired to that club
- Tap the + in the top right corner of the My Clubs page and follow the First Time Configuration steps 6-8 to add your new club
- If the club to which you are moving the ClubHub already exists in your club list, just tap that club to re-pair the sensor
Removing Clubs from Your Bag
When you remove an unused club from your golf bag, remember to also remove it from your ClubHub bag. Having lots of duplicate clubs configured in your ClubHub app can get confusing. Follow steps 1, 2, and 3 under the Moving a ClubHub to Another Club section.
Helpful Tips
- If you are on the configuration page but your club won’t connect, don’t panic! Double check…
- Bluetooth on your mobile device is turned on
- Your club is in the out-of-play position until you are on the “Looking for a ClubHub…” page
- Battery tabs are pulled from the ClubHub sensor
- Battery is installed with the positive side up
- Only configure one club at a time
- Having multiple clubs in the in-play position could cause you to configure a club to the wrong ClubHub
